Souk El Had Discovery
Spices, olives, argan oil, crafts and thousands of stalls in Agadir's great walled market.
Kasbah views, the marina, the seafront and everyday city life, joined up in one easy day.

Agadir is a young city watched over by an old hill. This tour links the Agadir Oufella kasbah, the marina at its foot, the long beachfront promenade and the streets where residents shop and eat — a good first day for getting your bearings before you head further out.
The day is about context as much as sights. From the hill, the restored ramparts and the view explain how the old kasbah, the port and the modern city fit together. Back at sea level, the marina and promenade show the resort that grew up after the 1960 earthquake.
Pace and stops are flexible. Tell us what you enjoy — photography, food, history or simply a slow walk — and we will suggest a route by email.
Agadir Oufella rises north of the city centre, directly above the port. The cable car line runs for roughly 1.7 km from its lower station near the Tildi bridge up to the hilltop. The marina and promenade lie between the port and the main beach.
Yes. Most of the day is easy-paced walking, and the cable car is usually a highlight for children. Tell us their ages when you write so the plan fits.
Often, yes. Souk El Had is in the city, so it can fit into the same day. The market is widely reported to close on Mondays, so we will check the day with you.
