Atlas Mountain Village Tour
Argan-clad slopes, terraced fields and Amazigh villages in the hills above the coast.
Turquoise rock pools, palms and warm-coloured cliffs in a gorge of the Atlas foothills.

Paradise Valley is a gorge in the Atlas foothills inland from Agadir, on the road that climbs toward Imouzzer Ida Outanane. Palm groves and smooth, pale rock ledges frame a chain of natural pools — a cool contrast to the coast, roughly an hour's drive away.
Expect an easy-to-moderate walk over uneven rock and gravel between the road and the pools. Water levels depend on recent rainfall: pools can be deep and green after a wet winter and much lower after a dry spell.
The valley is popular, especially at weekends and in summer, so an earlier start usually means more space by the water.
The valley lies in the foothills north-east of Agadir, on the route from Aourir up to Imouzzer Ida Outanane, which is around 60 km from the city. The drive from Agadir usually takes about an hour, depending on traffic and stops.
