Paradise Valley
Turquoise rock pools, palms and warm-coloured cliffs in a gorge of the Atlas foothills.
Argan-clad slopes, terraced fields and Amazigh villages in the hills above the coast.

Within an hour or so of Agadir, the coastal plain gives way to the western end of the High Atlas. Here Amazigh (Berber) villages sit among argan trees, terraced plots and dry riverbeds. This tour climbs into the Ida Outanane hills toward Imouzzer for big landscapes and a glimpse of rural life.
This is a day of landscapes and small encounters rather than big monuments. Stops depend on the route and season: a viewpoint, a walk through a village lane, perhaps a place where argan oil is made.
Imouzzer's waterfalls flow mainly in winter and after rain; in dry months they may be a trickle or dry altogether.
Imouzzer Ida Outanane lies around 60 km north-east of Agadir by mountain road, reached via Aourir and the Paradise Valley gorge. The area belongs to the Agadir Ida-Outanane prefecture.
Sometimes this can be arranged, but we won't promise it. Tell us your interests and we will say honestly what is possible.
Not necessarily. Walks can be kept short — or made longer if you would like to stretch your legs.

Spices, olives, argan oil, crafts and thousands of stalls in Agadir's great walled market.
